Experienced and Entry Level Diesel Mechanics, Kalamazoo, Michigan and Charlotte, Michigan

We are actively recruiting diesel mechanics to work at our Kalamazoo, Michigan location and our Charlotte, Michigan location.  Experienced diesel mechanics and entry level mechanics are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for a positive attitude, someone who can work both in a team environment and independently when required and we can count on to be reliable for this important position.  Understanding of proper safety standards and procedures.   Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are necessary.  Duties include: safely repair and maintain our fleet of ready-mix trucks, tractors, flatbed delivery trucks, flatbed trailers and bulk trailers.  Must have diesel engine maintenance and repair training and / or experience.  Bodywork and fabricating skills are a plus.  Must have own hand tools and be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.  Must have a valid driver’s license, CDL is a plus.

Ready Mix Plant Manager. Kalamazoo, Michigan

We are hiring for a full-time Ready Mix Plant Manager for our Kalamazoo Ready Mix location.  This position requires a positive attitude, good customer skills and someone who believes safety on the job is critical to success.  We offer a competitive wage paid weekly and the position includes a benefits package that includes medical, a 401k retirement plan with company match and much more. Must possess a valid driver’s license, a Commercial Drivers’ License is a plus and be insurable by our carrier’s standards.  Must possess appropriate and current mechanical/technical abilities and have basic office/computer skills.  Prefer High School diploma or equivalent and a construction background.  Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds and be able to pass pre-employment tests.

Loader Operator / Yard Attendant   Benton Harbor and Niles MI Locations

We are recruiting a dependable full-time Loader Operator and Yard Attendant for our Benton Harbor and Niles Ready Mix locations.  This role supports r ready mix operations in the 2 local plants.  Duties include operating a front-end loader to maintain raw materials (stone and sand) for our ready-mix plants, managing yard activities around the plant and assisting with plant maintenance when needed.  Flexibility to work at either location as business needs dictate is a must for this position.  Full time hours + overtime available during main construction season, reduced hour possible in winter.  A safety mindset is required when operating the front-end loader.  Loading and unloading of our ready-mix plants and customer trucks as needed.  Additional duties include keeping the yard, washout areas, and plant grounds clean and organized.  Assist with batching operations, (adding fibers, color and / or other admixtures to our trucks) equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and provide good customer service to inside and outside customers.  Must possess a valid driver’s license, a Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) is a plus and be insurable by our carrier’s standards.  Prefer High School diploma or equivalent and a construction background.  Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds, and be able to pass pre-employment tests. Mixer Drivers – We are recruiting for full-time experienced ready-mix drivers. Must have a solid work history, driving record and valid CDL. Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and pass pre-employment tests.
